Have your say on the Voluntary Assisted Dying Bill 2021
Voluntary Assisted Dying Bill 2021
A Bill will be introduced into the NSW Parliament later this year to legalise Voluntary Assisted Dying in NSW.
It would create a legal framework to provide for, and regulate access to, voluntary assisted dying for persons in NSW with a terminal illness. It also includes various safeguards.
For many in the community, this area of public policy is deeply personal and often evokes strong emotions and views.
For this reason, I am reaching out to everyone across the Northern Rivers to seek your opinion and thoughts on the Bill.
Your views will help shape the position I take as a Member of the Legislative Council when the Bill is debated and voted on in NSW Upper House.
